From October 22 to 25, 2025, the China (Shanghai) International Musical Instrument Exhibition will kick off at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. Having developed for more than 20 years, this exhibition has become one of the most influential industry events worldwide.

This year's exhibition will gather over 1,840 exhibitors from across the globe, covering 105 countries and regions. It is expected to attract nearly 150,000 visitors, and more than 100 conference events and over 400 on-site performances will be held during the same period.
The exhibition has set up a special "Music X Future Zone", which focuses on innovative technologies across the entire industrial chain such as music creation tools and audio processing, and builds an international technology exchange platform.
More notably, the first "Ancient Sounds Reborn · Experience Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Through Music" Traditional Musical Instrument Cultural Experience Festival will be held. The Shanghai Mass Art Center will cooperate with national-level ICH inheritors to present performances like Jiangnan Silk and Bamboo Music and Pudong Pipa Art, as well as demonstrations of guqin (a traditional Chinese seven-stringed zither) making techniques, achieving a collision between tradition and modernity.
