These techniques can be divided into two categories: basic techniques and advanced techniques, with different techniques suitable for different musical scenarios and emotional expressions. The correct drum-holding posture is the foundation of playing, and there are two commonly used postures: left-hand holding and right-hand holding. When holding the tambourine with the left hand, pass the left hand through the grip hole of the frame, fit the palm against the inner side of the frame, and bend the fingers naturally to fix the drum body, keeping the drumhead at a 45-degree angle to the ground. This angle ensures full vibration of the jingles and avoids the problem of overly short or long resonance of the jingle sounds. When holding the tambourine with the right hand, the opposite applies: hold the drum with the right hand and use the left hand for striking. This posture is suitable for performance scenarios that require rapid switching between striking and shaking movements.
